We are proud to have been involved with Carbon Energy and their project near Dalby in South East Queensland. The trial was completed early this year. They are currently using techniques pioneered by CSIRO, which are at the forefront of creating the minimum of industrial and environmental disruption. We have helped them throughout their trial, to establish all the necessary insulating requirements for their Coal Gasification plant at Bloodwood Creek. A stated purpose of this trial is to produce clean energy by using a unique approach that captures the carbon dioxide. Projects like this exemplify how today’s industry is facing the challenges of more and more stringent requirements regarding planning and implementation.
Ezi Fab & Insulation performed the insulation for all the pipework and the insulation of the skids and of the boiler for this Coal Gasification trial. We used foil faced Rockwool blanket and pipe section for all the insulation on this project to help keep the costs down. We can provide a service to clad all industrial insulation of pipework. Cladding of pipework gives a better finished product overall.
